Anna Kokko

Programme Manager, Project Leader

Anna Kokko is a Program Manager for the Family-Friendly Workplace Program at Väestöliitto and the leader in the project Ruuhkavuodet 2 (2024–2026). She has worked for more than 15 years as a special expert and project leader in balancing work and family life and gender equality issues. Anna has also worked as a development manager and participated in this position in the leadership group in Väestöliitto. She has carried out several development projects with organizations and companies in different sectors to strengthen family equality and equality.

Anna has done national influence and stakeholder cooperation, for example in the background work of government programmes, the government’s equality program, equality report and parental leave working group. Over the years, she has done a lot of media cooperation in family, work and equality issues. She has written scientific and other articles and blogs in the topic and has produced podcasts and videos. From the beginning, Anna has been developing and implementing the Family-Friendly Workplace Program and led the research and development project Equality and Fathers (2019–2021).

Anna has a master’s degree in political science. She has completed the specialized professional degree in Management and business management (2021), approved operational developer training, specialization studies in social pedagogic family work, as well as training in occupational safety and occupational health and safety.
